Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers announces the launch of "Sambal", the new stylish alfresco Grill Dining & Bar alongside the Chao Phraya River. Sambal is a new urban oasis to escape from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, Luxuriating in the sunset while sipping exotic cocktails from the Riverside Bar and chilling out to the sultry sounds.

Sambal is a chilli paste, a basic ingredient widely used in South East Asian cooking - Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Southern Thailand. These influences in the menu are the "heart" of Sambal. The freshest fish, the finest seafood and the most exotic of fruits and produce are all displayed "centre stage" for diners to choose from personally and then watch them sizzle away on a custom made, open-fired charcoal grill while they select their accompaniments: sambal, chutney, wasabi cream to name a few.

Relaxing in screened nooks, or private "chill zones" allows for intimate dining or business conversation. If so desired, the whole place can be turned an exclusive venue - Bali influence in style, with live music and dancing to the latest mixes from hot spots around the world, including Bali, Ibiza, Marbella, Paris, London and New York. "Sambal" dances to its own beat...one that flows with the river... and brings you home.
